Mr. Randy Venis Napier born October 12, 1956 departed this life on Friday July 13, 2012 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky. Randy was born in Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late Hamp Napier and the late Marie Sizemore Napier. Randy was a life-long resident of Leslie County, and was a Member of the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church where he served as Board Member, Sunday School Superintendent, and former youth leader. Randy was a retired Coal Miner from Shamrock Coal Company, Owner of B&B Mini-Mart, and enjoyed, Hunting, Old Cars, and was a Loving Father and Grandfather. Randy was preceded in death by his Parents - Hamp and Marie Napier, Sister - Rita Faye Eversole, and Spiritual Father - Pearl Lewis.
Mr. Randy Venis Napier leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife - Alice Ruth Napier of Hyden, KY; Daughter - Brandy Paige Howard & Sam of London, KY; Son - Joshua Brent Napier & Ashley of Hyden, KY; Four Brothers - Robert Napier & Lizette of Hyden, KY, Joe Napier & Sandy of Hyden, KY, Roger Napier & Cindy of Kettering, OH and Rick Napier & Debbie of Stinnett, KY; One Sister - Rosita Gaunt & Jeff of Trenton, OH; Spiritual Mother - Thelma Lewis of Hyden, KY; Three Grandchildren - Treyton Samuel Howard, Alexa Paige Howard and Jude Caleb Randy Napier; Also a host of Nieces, Nephews, and other Relatives and Friends survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. Randy Napier will be conducted on Wednesday July 18, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church with Rev. Ted Couch, Andrew Farmer and Eric Richardson officiating. The Interment will follow in the Laurel Fork Cemetery located at Hyden, KY. The Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday Evening from 6:00 till 11:00 P.M. The following will serve as Pallbearers - Shane Napier, Wayne Napier, Brannon Caldwell, Brian Napier, Roy Collett, Homer Jr, Collett, Travis Napier, Tanner Sasser and Brandon Baker. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rockhouse Pentecostal Youth Group at P.O. Box 1872 - Hyden, KY 41749. Engle-Bowling Funeral Home in Charge of Arrangements.
