Adna Napier born July 20, 1930 went Home to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 18, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 93-years old. Adna was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Ira Southwood and the late Mary Haynes. Other than her parents, Adna was also preceded in death by her Husband, Jesse Napier; One Daughter, Lula Collins; Three Sons, Willie Napier, John Napier and William Cager Napier; Sisters, Margaret Combs, Cora Lee Roberts, Easter Roberts & Liz Roberts; Brothers, Oscar Roberts, Tommy Roberts, Cager Southwood, and Ira Southwood; Son-In-Laws, Clyde Herald, Johnny Collins, Paul Tucker and Jack Davidson; Grandsons, Felix Herald and Clarence Napier. Adna was a Member of the Second Creek Church of God.

Adna Napier leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Sons, Jesse Napier, Jr. & Brenda of Bonnyman, Ira Napier of Combs, Paul Napier & Valerie of WV; Daughters, Thelma Tucker of Combs, Irene Neace & Larry of Chavies, Sally Estep & Jr. of Hazard, Audrey Collins of Hazard, Polly Begley & Clarence of Combs, Mae Herald of Combs, Carolyn Davidson of Happy, Hazel Herald & Lawrence of Browns Fork; Sister, Emma Jean Deaton of Combs. A host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Adna Napier will be conducted on Sunday October 22, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Merrill David Collins officiating. The Interment will follow in the Napier Cemetery located in Hazard, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M.
