Alice Adams born December 23, 1969 departed this life on Wednesday April 24, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center being 54 years old. Alice was the daughter of the late Robert Mills and the late Louise Brock Mills. father, James Cooley Combs; Other than her parents, Alice was also preceded in death by step-father, Bowman Murphy; brothers, Johnny Mills, Carlos Mills, Bobby Mills, Bill Mills; sisters, Norma Sue Mills, Phyllis Ann Mills; Two Infant Grandchildren; grandparents, Dr. Cooley Combs & Maxine, Martin Carlson & Estella. Alice was a God fearing woman and loved going to church, working in the garden, and spending time with her family.

Alice Adams leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: husband, Mark Adams of Slemp, KY; mother, Deborah Cochuyt & Al of Coal Valley, IL; daughter, Teresa Adams & Mannon Ison of Slemp, KY; brothers, Lloyd Mills &Helen of Barbourville, KY, Michael Joseph Combs of Coal Valley, IL, James Creed of Daven Port, IA, Benjamin Whitford & Lindsey of Chrystal Lake, IL; sisters, Bonnie Hart & John of Coal Valley, IL, Cleo Minto & Carl of Barbourville, KY, Jennifer Mills of Barbourville, KY, Angie Wagner & Larry of Barbourville, KY;   granddaughter, Jacey Jones; special sister-in-law, Dolly Mills; great-niece, Cecile Yeboah; special friends, Charity Shepherd, Zachary Williams, Reba Halcomb, Sandy Halcomb & Roy; Michelle Shepherd, Courtney Coots, Anita & Lloyd Cornett, Tammy Boggs. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Alice Adams will be held on Saturday at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday April 28, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Harold Turner officiating. The Interment will follow in the Beech Fork Cemetery located at Slemp, Kentucky.
