Alma Rae Williams born July 23, 1935 went Home to be with the Lord on Friday September 23, 2022 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 87-years old. Alma was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Arnold Russell and the late Ellen Vires Russell. Other than her parents, Alma was also preceded in death by her Husband, James Everett Williams; Son-In-Law, Harold Dean Caldwell; Brother, Leonard Russell; Sisters, Mary Melton, Della Goodman, and Wanda Spencer; Beloved Great-Granddaughter, Alexis Rheanna Nicole Combs; Brother-In-Laws, Parker Williams, Carl Williams, Nelson Kegley; Sister-In-Laws, Christine Williams, Lavina Russell, Mazie Williams Jones. Alma was a member of the Big Leatherwood First Baptist Church, a retired teacher who touched many lives as well as a devoted mother to her four daughters. Alma enjoyed gospel songs, reading her bible, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.

Ross, Jakai Quincy, Kyan Ross, Samuel Thomas and Johnny Thomas; One Great-Great Grandchild, Rylee Gilbert. A host of family and friends and all those who cared for her health and wellbeing.

Funeral Services for Alma Rae Williams will be conducted on Wednesday September 28, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Williams officiating. The Interment will follow in the Jackson Cemetery located at Jackson, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 till 9:00 with additional services at 7:00 P.M. The family request that everyone attending the visitation and service to please wear a mask.
