Almeda Sizemore Napier of Lexington, KY formerly of Combs born October 28, 1943 departed this life on Tuesday July 16, 2024 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky being 80-years old. Almeda was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Walter Sizemore and the late Chapel Kilburn Riley.  Other than her parents, Almeda was also preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Napier; grandson, Travis Steele; brothers, Fred Sizemore, Manuel Riley, Ikie Riley and Ira Riley.

Almeda Sizemore Napier leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: son, Anthony Napier & Becky of Lexington, KY; daughters, Ginger McDaniels Yeary & Dwayne of Happy, Mary Fields & Jack of Hazard; brothers, Martin Sizemore of Hyden, KY, Azee Sizemore of Hyden, KY, Woody Riley of Combs, KY, Ricky Riley of VA; sisters, Abbie Gail Lewis of Hyden, KY, Marinis Ellis of NC, Helen Uhrig of OH, Wilma Jean Riley of Hazard, Donna Riley of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Coby, Cameron, Stephanie, Matthew, Aaron, Jordyn, Chrissy and T.J.; Five great-grandchildren; special cousins, Susie Kilburn Napier and Ann Hunsaker; dog, Champ. A host of other Relatives and Friends survive.

Visitation for Almeda Sizemore Napier will be held on Sunday July 21, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held on Sunday July 21, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Merill David Collins officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Combs Cemetery located at Combs, Kentucky.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
