Amos Lee Campbell born March 25, 1949 departed this life on Friday – January 2, 2026 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 76-years old.  Amos was born in Perry County the son of the late Andrew & Ella Mae Campbell.  Other than his parents, Amos was also preceded in death by his siblings: Claude Campbell, Steven Campbell, Lonnie Campbell, Sally Campbell, Else Campbell, and Sandra Rex.  Amos was retired from the Railroad after proudly serving the company for 40-years.  Amos was very proud of his family and loved them all dearly.  Amos was married to the love of his life Janet and they were happily married for 40-years.

Amos Lee Campbell leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 40-years: Janet Campbell of Bonnyman; Sons: Amos "A.C." Campbell & Ariana of Hazard and Timmy Vanover Campbell & Mercedes of Knott County; Sister: Tammy Couch of Bonnyman; Brothers: John Campbell of Richmond, KY, Linville Campbell of Lexington, KY and Harold Campbell of Bonnyman; Grandchildren: Max, Sophia, Paisley, and Ellie; also a host of special loved nieces, nephews, and many other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation for Amos Lee Campbell will be held on Tuesday – January 6, 2026 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will follow on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor A.D. "Pete" McGee officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Mt. Caramel Cemetery located at Rowdy, Kentucky.
