Annette Charles born July 26, 1966 departed this life on Monday March 6, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard being 56-years old. Annette was born in Pontiac, Michigan the daughter of the late James Charles and the late Ailene Stacy Maggard. Other than her Parents, Annette was also preceded in death by Four Sisters, Diana Charles, Theresa Perkins, Vicky Charles, and Betty Hicks; Two Sons, Jackie Sturgill and Joey Sturgill; Two Brothers, Jimmy Hicks and James Paul Charles. Annette loved being outdoors, especially camping and swimming.

Annette Charles leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Companion, Jack Sturgill of Hazard; Two Sons, Bobby Couch & Tiffany of Hazard, Zackery Sturgill of Hazard; Four Step-Children, Jennifer Sturgill Patterson & Jason of Monroe, MI, Matthew Sturgill of Muskegon, MI, Eric Sturgill & Tammy of Monroe, MI, Jamie Sturgill & Sarah of Talcum, MI; Two Brothers, Ricky Charles of Hazard, Earmel Charles & Stephanie of Hazard; Sister, Theresa Jo Pasko of Charleston, WV; Granddaughter, Ailee Couch; Seven Step-Grandchildren, Emma Patterson and Kolbie Patterson, Nathaniel Sturgill, Matti Sturgill, Landon Sturgill, and Caleb Sturgill. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Memorial Services for Annette Charles will be conducted on Friday March 10, 2023 at the Clear Fork Old Regular Baptist Church at 12:00 P.M. with Jeff Combs officiating. The Interment will follow in the Grigsby Cemetery located at Lotts Creek, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Clear Fork Old Regular Baptist Church on Thursday evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M.
