Arnold B. "Boonie" Chandler born May 3, 1943 departed this life on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 80-years old. Boonie was born in Grant County, Kentucky the son of the late Carter Chandler and the late Goldie Freeman Chandler. Other than his parents, Boonie was also preceded in death by Two Daughters, Rose Irene and Bonnie Lou; Brother, Edgar Chandler; Three Sisters, Irene, Erma Ray and Marie. Boonie was a Truck Driver and was well known by his handle "Poor Boy", he enjoyed fishing and was always working with his hands doing electrical work and mechanicing.

Arnold B. "Boonie" Chandler leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Loving & Devoted Wife, Deborah Chandler of Krypton; Three Daughters, Marie Baker & Larry of Buckhorn; Donna Baker & Eddie of Chavies, Cena Deaton & Paul Combs of Leslie County; Son, Shawn Chandler & Savannah of Hazard; Eleven Grandchildren, A host of Great-Grandchildren and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Arnold B. "Boonie" Chandler will be conducted on Friday January 12, 2024 at the Coneva Church of God after 6:00 P.M. Funeral Services will follow on Saturday at the Coneva Church of God at 1:00 P.M. with Anthony Mullins officiating. The Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery located in Gays Creek, Kentucky.
