Arthur Junior Shepherd

Arthur Junior Shepherd born May 15, 1939, departed this life on Sunday – September 20, 2026 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 87-years old. Junior was born in Cornettsville, Kentucky, the son of the late Arthur Shepherd and the late Nora Shepherd. Other than his parents, Junior was also preceded in death by his wife, Irene Shepherd; stepson, Keith Caudill; step great granddaughter, Savanna Watts; and three brothers; and three sisters.

Junior leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: brother, Ray (Diane) Shepherd; stepson, Danny (Linda) Caudill; step grandchildren, Keith (Bub), Nikki, Danielle, Isaac; special niece, DJ Shepherd; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Junior Shepherd will be held on Wednesday – September 23, 2026 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday September 24, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Danny Dixon, Scotty Halcomb, and Michael Berryman officiating. The Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery located at Little Leatherwood, Kentucky.
