Austin Terry Gibson born February 17, 1996 departed this life on Thursday December 14, 2023 in Breathitt County being 27-years old.  Austin was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of JoAnne Combs and the late Michael Gibson.  Other than his father, Austin was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Virgil & Wanda Gibson; maternal grandparents, Ordley & Hester Grigsby; also a host of other family members as well.  Austin loved his time spent around his nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Austin Terry Gibson leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: mother, JoAnne Combs & Gregory of Booneville, KY; sister, Tiffany Gibson & Brian of Hazard, KY; brother, Michael Gibson, Jr. & Brittany of Bonnyman, KY; girlfriend, Missy Collins; step-brother, Jason Combs & Jill of Breathitt County; nieces & nephews, Hailey Collins, Peyton Collins, Dakota Allen, Chloe Gibson, Christian Gibson, Evie Gibson, Rader Combs, Mason Combs, and Wesley Combs; special friends, Rebecca Fryman and Steven Smith; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Austin Terry Gibson will be conducted on Monday December 18, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with William Morris and Merill David Collins officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Eversole Cemetery located at Second Creek, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
