Barbara Ann Sexton born May 12, 1952 departed this life on Saturday December 9, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 71-years old. Barbara was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky the daughter of the late Arnold Amburgey and the late Gladys Marie Slone. Other than her parents, Barbara was also preceded in death by her Husband, Jerry Sexton; One Daughter, Anna Sexton; One Son, Roger Sexton; One Grandson, Kevin Sexton and a host of Brothers and Sisters. Barbara loved spending time with her Children and Grandchildren and Fishing.

Barbara Ann Sexton leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Sons, Jason Sexton & Amanda Callahan of Jenkins, KY, Scott Sexton & Sue of Thorton, KY; Daughter, Emily Callahan & Josh of Cornettsville, KY; Grandchildren, Ava S., Kassie, Jaxon, Haven, Ayden, Sebastian, L.J., Scarlett, Ava C., Jebby, Harley, Haley, Jayden, and Kayden. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Barbara Ann Sexton will be conducted on Wednesday December 13, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lighthouse Community Church in Whitesburg, Kentucky with Glenn Gross officiating. The Interment will follow in the Gibson-Amburgey Cemetery in Whitesburg, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Lighthouse Community Church on Tuesday evening after 6:00 P.M.
