Benny Adams, born November 22, 1957 departed this life on Tuesday-June 30, 2026 at Hazard Health and Rehab, being 68-years old. Benny was born in Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late George Matt Adams and the late Bessie Burns. Other than his parents Benny was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Adams.

Benny leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory; brother, Billy Adams; sisters, Betty Carol, Barbara Yopp, Brenda Miller. Also a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends survive.

Benny Adams was a beloved community member from Squabble Creek, known as a devoted "Wildcat" fan who "bled purple" for his local school and neighborhood. He was described as a kind, friendly, and generous person who loved to laugh, supported his community and school, and was missed deeply by family and friends. Community remembrance Local posts from Buckhorn School and Wildcat Athletics highlight Benny as their #1 fan-he wore the purple and white with pride and was honored at baseball and basketball events, including a Hall of Fame induction. Friends recall his joking laugh and his role as a caring neighbor and friend.
