Bessie Meria White Thomas, born November 5, 1975, departed this life on Wednesday-July 1, 2026, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, being 50 years old. Bessie was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Gilbert White Jr. and Lizzie McCoy, other than her father she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, V.C. & Bessie White and Arch & Genova Collins; cousin, Christoper Colwell.

Bessie leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory; her husband, Jason Thomas; sons, Jordan White (Whitney), Aaron Thomas; daughter, Kelee Mosley (Jake); grandchildren, Miles Gilbert White, Daylyn Cash Mosley; mother, Lizzie McCoy; stepfather, Clyde; brothers, Marvin White (Crystal) and Bobby Sizemore (Julie); sister, Brenda Henson (Arthur"Bug"), Abby White; stepmother, Darlene Bennett White.  Also, a host of aunts, uncles, and many other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Bessie Meria White Thomas will be conducted on Saturday – July 4, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Jonathon Lowry officiating.  The Visitation will be held on Friday – July 3, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home. The interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery in Chavies, Kentucky.
