Bethel Mae Baker born December 3, 1955 went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 6, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 68-years old. Beth was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Lax Feltner and the late Zola Fields Feltner. Other than her parents, Beth was also preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Baker; grandson, Darrell Austin Baker; a host of brothers and sisters. Beth was a Member of the Yerkes Baptist Church for 36 years and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Bethel Mae Baker leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: sons, Jeffery Grant Baker of Busy, Darrell & Crystal Baker of Busy, David & Marsha Baker of Busy; daughters, Melissa & Michael Wooton of Busy, Tammy & Wesley Godsey of Lost Creek, KY, Laura & James Fugate of Busy; grandchildren, Brandon & Katie Wooton of Sassafras, KY, Bethany Wooton of Busy, Alex Fugate of Busy, Courtney Fugate of Busy, Avery Baker of Busy, Carter Baker of Busy, Evan Baker of Busy, Bryan Amburgey of Busy, Lilly Amburgey of Busy, Eston Amburgey of Busy; special niece, Judy Brock. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Bethel Mae Baker will be held on Wednesday October 9, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. with Visitation continuing on Thursday at the Church from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 10, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Yerkes Baptist Church with Kenny Smith and Ben Goins officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Baker Family Cemetery located at Busy, Kentucky.
