Betty Lou Barnett born April 22, 1949 went Home to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 22, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard being 73-years old. Betty was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Thomas Earl Cuddy and the late Katherine Gibson Franks. Other than her Parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her Husband, Ronnie Barnett; Step-Father, Herschel Franks; Brother, Larry Franks. Betty was a Member of the Ira Combs Baptist Church and had worked in the Florist Industry for approximately 40 years.

Betty Lou Barnett leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Three Children, Steve Barnett & Jennifer of Viper, Angie Crawford & Donnie of Hazard, Jason Barnett & Amanda of Hazard; Seven Grandchildren, Cody (Lauren), Jon (Ricki Jo), Autumn (Cameron), Jacob, Dawson, Ethan, and Landon; Seven Great-Grandchildren, Bentley, Bella, Kyson, Sophia, Maddox, Jaelynn, Raegan, and Two on the way; Brother-In-Law, Mike Barnett & Lema; Sister-In-Law, Sharon Franks; Nieces, Celenia Stacy & Scott, Lori Sheroan & Joey, Rae Ann Barnett & Jamie. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Betty Lou Barnett will be conducted on Monday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Tuesday February 28, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. with Craig Daniels, Cody Barnett, and Mike Barnett officiating. The Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery located at Jeff, Kentucky. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ira Combs Baptist Church at P.O. Box 272 – Jeff, Kentucky 41751. The following will serve as pallbearers, Eric Pratt, Kenny Pratt, Carl Webb, Anthony Hall, Ethan Welch, and Cameron Carey.
