Betty Jean Heath born February 4, 1951 departed this life on Friday May 5, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 72-years old. Betty was born in Perry County the daughter of the late Floyd Colwell and the late Siller Huff Colwell. Other than her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her infant Daughter, Elena Marie; Brother, Robert Colwell and Sisters, Ruth Dickerson & Lillie Mae Lingo.

Betty Jean Heath leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Brother, Lonnie Colwell & Ida Mae of Hammersville, OH; Special Nephew, Jimmy Dickerson of Combs, KY; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Betty Jean Heath will be conducted on Sunday May 7, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Teddy Bailey officiating. The Interment will follow in the Bailey Cemetery located at Trace Branch. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.
