Betty Watts born April 1, 1936, departed this life on Wednesday – September 2, 2026, at her residence in Lexington, Kentucky being 90-years old. Betty was born in Christopher, Kentucky the daughter of the late Lee Combs and the late Nannie Bell Dixon Combs. Other than her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Dempsey Watts; son, Tommy Lee Watts, sister, Goldie Campbell, and brother, Curtis Combs.

Betty Watts leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: grandsons, Stephen Watts & Susan of Lexington, KY; Lee Thomas Watts of Hazard, KY; great grandchildren, Rylan, Olivia, Logan, and Maverick; brothers, James Clayburn Combs of Lexington KY; and Clifford Combs & Barbara of Christopher, KY; sister, Anna Lee Napier & E.R. of Chavies KY; special friend, David Tuduri & Sarah of Lexington, KY; also a host of many other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation for Betty Watts will be held on Sunday – September 6, 2026, at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 12:30 – 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday – September 6, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Mike Smith officiating. The Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery located at Hazard, KY.
