Billie Sue Campbell, 82, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Norton Women and Children's Hospital.

She was a retired Customer Service Associate for Kmart, a 1962 graduate of M.C.Napier High School, a faithful member of the Expressway Church of Christ since 1967,a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her.

Preceding Billie Sue in death are her parents, Will and Ada Napier; a brother, Randall Napier, and a sister, Wanda Napier.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 62 years, Eugene Campbell; daughter, Kim Roper (Scott); son, Brent Campbell (Maira); grandchildren, Marcella Pinedo, Kara Hardison (Justin), Paul Pinedo, and Miles Roper; and a great grandson, Liam Ramos.

A visitation will be held 5-7 PM Thursday, July 16th at Joseph E. Ratterman Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Drive, with a funeral service officiated by Brother Donnie Oliver starting at 7 PM.

Billie Sue will also have a visitation from 12-1 PM Friday, July 17 th at Engle-Bowling Funeral Home, 301 Main Street, Hazard, KY 41701, with a funeral service officiated by Brother Donnie Oliver starting at 1 PM.  She will be laid to rest next to her parents in the Combs Cemetery, Upper Second Creek in Hazard, KY.
