Billy Ray "Poppy" Stidham born January 9, 1950 departed this life on Friday – December 12, 2025 in Slemp, Kentucky being 75-years old.  Billy is preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Cornett Stidham.

Billy Ray "Poppy" Stidham  leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Daughters, Teresa Lynn Caudill  of Slemp, Jeanetta Sue Campbell & Michael of Slemp; Grandchildren, Christie Hollins & Matt Buel of Slemp, Ben Caudill of Hazard and Bekah Whitaker & Kirby of Nicholasville; Great Grandchildren, Alex Combs & Destiny Young of Slemp and Jayden Star Combs of Slemp; Great Great Grandchild, Ellie Kate Combs of Slemp; also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday – December 20, 2025 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. till 3:00 P.M. with Masonic Rites at 3:00 P.M.
