Blue Jean Engle born May 31, 1930 departed this life on Thursday March 20, 2025 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 94-years old.  Blue Jean was born in Perry County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Walter Stidham and the late Lora Gibson Stidham.  Other than her parents, Blue Jean was also preceded in death by her husband, William Elliott Engle; sisters, Ruthene Campbell, Gerlene Stacy, and Dellatine Engle; granddaughter, Sherry Ann Mullins.  Blue Jean was a Devout Christian, and founding member of the Willard Pentecostal Church.

Blue Jean Engle leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: daughter, Judy Combs & Darrell of Sixteen Mile Creek; son, William Engle, Jr. "Buddy" & Sandy of Busy, KY; grandchildren, Darla Kay Combs & E.C. of Busy, KY, Heather Smith & Anthony of Annville, KY and Derek Engle & LeeAnn of Busy, KY; 8-great grandchildren, Lora Stacy, Morgan Vaughn & Jeremiah, Sydni Mullins, Madison Justice & Austin, Jaden Engle, Tyson McIntyre, Kamryn McIntyre, and Ella Colwell; 3-great great grandchildren, Hadley Sherry, Zayden Justice, and William Jensen Vaughn; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Blue Jean Engle will be conducted on Monday – March 24, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with David Sandlin & Rodney Thompson officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Engle Cemetery located at Busy, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
