Bobbie Ann Deaton born February 19, 1950 departed this life on Sunday June 18, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 73-years old.  Bobbie was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Robert Walls and the late Hazel Napier Walls.  Other than her parents, Bobbie was also preceded in death by her Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law, Garfield & Carrie Deaton, and a host of Brothers & Sisters.  Bobbie loved her family and grandchildren dearly, she loved to cook, travel, and playing cards and board games with her family, and enjoyed going to the goodwill.

Bobbie Ann Deaton leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Husband of 48-years, Garfield Deaton, Jr. of Hazard; Son, James "Dusty" Deaton & wife Ashley of Girdler, KY; Brother, Sammy Walls & wife Nancy of Hazard; Sister, Vickie Colwell of Hazard; Four Grandchildren, Timothy Kyle Branson & Tiffany of Hazard, Dusty Kyle Deaton of Hazard, Hadley Anna-Gail Deaton of Girdler, and Kaydence Ande-Grace Deaton of Girdler; Special Cousin, Pam Neace; Special Friend, Delorse Branson; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Bobbie Ann Deaton will be held on Saturday June 24, 2023 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 P.M. with Clarence Deaton officiating.
