Bobby Gene Eversole born September 8, 1938 departed this life on Tuesday November 14, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 85-years old.  Bobby was born in Perry County, Kentucky the son of the late Clarence Eversole and the late Ellen Vanover Eversole.  Other than his parents, Bobby was also preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Eversole; son, Bobby Darrell Eversole; brothers, Jack Eversole, Fred Eversole, Eb Eversole, Everett Eversole, and Cash Eversole; sisters, Loretta Tucker and Shirley Baker.  Bobby was a member of the Airport Gardens Pentecostal Church and Big Creek Pentecostal Church, Bobby loved going to church and serving his Lord and Savior.  Bobby enjoyed working in the garden, he enjoyed working with his hands, and was a hard working family man, who taught his family to trust in the Lord with all their might.

Bobby Gene Eversole leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: two sons, Dwayne Eversole of Hazard and Donald Gene Eversole & Scarlett of Lower Grassy Branch; brothers, Virgil Eversole, and David Eversole both of Big Creek, KY; sister, Edith Hamilton & Bob of Big Creek, KY; sister-in-laws, Bessie Eversole and Betty Eversole both of Big Creek, KY; brother-in-laws, James Tucker and Bert Baker both of Big Creek, KY; grandchildren, Brittany Hall & Corey, Tyler Eldridge & Jaiden and Jeremy Woolum; 6-great-grandchildren; special niece, Donna Combs; special friends, J.C. Dixon and Edmond Howard; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Bobby Gene Eversole will be conducted on Saturday November 18, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Johnie Akers officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Eversole Family Cemetery located at Big Creek, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
