Brenda Carol Combs born April 20, 1966 departed this life on Wednesday April 10. 2024 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 57-years old.  Brenda was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Harold Lawson and the late Helen Watts Lawson.  Other than her parents, Brenda was also preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Bailey.  Brenda was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening, shopping, and fishing.

Brenda Carol Combs leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: husband of 39-years, Wendell Combs of Bonnyman; son, Wendell Randolf Combs of Hazard; two step-daughters, Jolean Holder & Jay of Georgia and Candy Combs of Georgia; brothers, Harold, Jr. Lawson of Hazard and Ronnie Lawson of Hazard; special aunt, "Aunt Pete"; special niece, Stormie; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Brenda Carol Combs will be held on Monday evening at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday April 16, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Donnie Oliver officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Watts-Lawson Cemetery located at Brownsfork, Kentucky.
