Brenda Sue Owens Day born October 21, 1962 departed this life on Monday – February 16, 2026 at the Knott County Health & Rehab being 63-years old.  Brenda was born in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of the late James Owens, Sr. and the late Betty Collins Owens.  Other than her parents, Brenda was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Nicole Day.  Brenda enjoyed camping & cooking, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Brenda Sue Owens Day leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Husband of 45-years: Anthony Day of Krypton, KY; Three Sons: Anthony Day, Jr. & Olivia of Krypton, KY, Jessie Day & Erin of Busy, KY, and Shane Day of Krypton, KY; Two Brothers: James Owens II of Alabama and Steven J. Owens of Illinois; Five Grandchildren: Alexa Day Moore & Michael, Tyler Day, Dalton Day, Brayden Day, Jeremiah Day; Three Great-Grandchildren: Ezlinn Moore, Kohen Moore, and Lovelynn Moore; also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral Services for Brenda Sue Owens Day will be conducted on Wednesday – February 18, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Anthony Mullins and A.J. Miller officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Day Family Cemetery located at Grapevine.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
