Burnett Nelson Martin born January 8, 1945 departed this life on Sunday December 11, 2022 at his residence in Happy, Kentucky being 77-years old. Burnett was born at Defiance, Kentucky the son of the late Burnett Martin and the late Gladys Martin. Other than his parents, Burnett was also preceded in death by One Son, Jeffrey Martin; Two Brothers, Bobby Martin and Jackie Martin; Two Sisters, Barbara Joseph and Bernice Martin. Burnett loved being with his friends and around people.

Burnett Nelson Martin leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 57-years, Vickie Martin of Happy; Two Daughters, Pam Martin of Happy, Robyn Martin of Happy; One  Son, Nelson Scott Martin of Happy; Brother, Roger Martin & Linda of Shelbyville, KY; Four Grandchildren, Hunter, Mason, Lauren, and Jeff Allen; Special Friend, Keith Shepherd. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Burnett Nelson Martin will be conducted on Friday December 16, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home. The Interment will follow in the Francis Branch Cemetery located at Jeff, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M.
