Carol Brickles, born March 4, 1955, departed this life on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at her residence in Delphia, Kentucky being 70-years old. Carol was born in Lynch, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Melvin Shepherd and the late Molly Combs. Other than her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by Son, Allen Brickles; Brothers: Donald Ray Shepherd and Bay Shepherd, Sisters: Wilma Cornett, Rena Hubbard, and Lela Gray.

Carol Brickles leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Son, Jonathan Neace & Minnie:  Daughters; Wilma Neace, Marcella Neace & JoBo,  Georgetta Cochran & Brodie, and  Virginia Davis & Ray, Brothers: Noah Shepherd, Dank Shepherd, Edward Shepherd, Paul Shepherd, Melvin Shepherd, Danny Asher, and David Asher; Sisters; Martha Penn, Alvernia Bowling, Marcella Duff, Nadine Cornett, Christine Adams, Inetta Morris, Travis Saylor, and Linda Brotherton. Special Friend, Francis Burns.  A host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and other Relatives & Friends survive.

Funeral Services for Carol Brickles will be conducted on Thursday – February 12, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Jay Akers officiating. The Interment will be Friday, February 13, 2026, in the Broad Run Cemetery located at New Haven, West Virginia. The visitation will be Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 P.M
