Carson Oliver born June 16, 1946 departed this life on Wednesday October 2, 2024 at his residence in Yerkes, Kentucky being 78-years old. Carson was born in Confluence, Kentucky the son of the late Bee Oliver and the late Frankie Anderson Oliver. Other than his parents, Carson was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Siller Oliver. Carson was a Retired U.S. Army Veteran and loved hunting and fishing. Carson had a passion for shooting guns with his grandsons and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carson was a Member of the Krypton Masonic Lodge #905 and Lifetime Member of Hazard V.F.W. #7387.

Carson Oliver leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife, Barbara Oliver of Yerkes; 2 daughters, Tammy Crawford & Burt of Yerkes, Teresa Sellers & Charlie of Hazard; two brothers, Kenny Oliver & Barbara of Busy, Kenneth Oliver & Carlene of Lexington, KY; three sisters, Jackie Napier & Bill of  Sixteen Mile Creek, Sherry Vanover & Lawrence of Fourseam, Debbie Wilson of Winchester, KY; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Carson Oliver will be held on Friday October 4, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday October 5, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Billy Vanover and Thomas Neace officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Oliver Cemetery located at Yerkes, Kentucky. Masonic Rites will be conducted on Friday evening at 7:00 P.M. by the Krypton Masonic Lodge #905. Military Rites will be conducted on Saturday by the Hazard-Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64. Carson's grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
