Charles Clifford Blankenship born May 29, 1938, departed this life on Tuesday-March 24, 2026 being 87-years old. Charles was born in Sassafras, Kentucky the son of the late Charles Blankenship and the late Miriam Blankenship. Other than his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his wife, Zelma Blankenship; sons, Charles Blankenship Jr., Dean Blankenship; granddaughter, Chasity Blankenship; sister, Nancy Antulis; brothers-In- law, John Holcomb, Lenny Johnson.

Charles leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: daughters, Debra Miniard (Gary) of Hazard, Kentucky, Jennifer Earley of Richmond, Kentucky, Joanna Blankenship of Bristol, Tennessee; sisters, Sue Holcomb of Georgia, Carla Johnson of Akron, Ohio; grandchildren, Steven Grigsby (Jennifer) Scott Grigsby, Logan Earley, Whitney Brooke, Isabella Earley, Charles Blankenship II, Valerie Hendon, Bryon Hendon; great grandchildren, Callie Grigsby, Dyson Holcomb, Alley king, Brooke King, and Houston Caldwell. A host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

The interment will be at the Green Lawn Cemetery in Akron, Ohio.
