Charles Eugene Combs II, born July 15, 1988, departed this life on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at his residence at the age of 37. Charles was born in Hyden, Kentucky, to Charles Eugene Combs and Gora Lee Watts. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Combs and Carol Combs, and Harlan Watts and Lola Watts.

Charles leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Charles Eugene Combs; his mother, Gora Lee Watts; his sister, April Lee Combs Ramirez and husband Carlos; his nieces, Kassandra, Karla, and Kloe; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services for Charles Eugene Combs II will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home, with Larry Gross officiating. Interment will follow at the McDaniel & Day Cemetery at Christopher, Kentucky. Visitation will be held at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
