Charles E. Dunigan *U.S. Army Veteran* born November 3, 1945 departed this life on Sunday February 9, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital – London, KY being 79-years old.  Charles was born in Perry County the son of the late Lones Dunigan and the late Mary Napier Dunigan.  Other than his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by two sisters, Tola Jean Whitaker and Patty Slaven.

Charles proudly served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1964 – 1967.  He loved Nascar, Building Cars, attending car shows, but most of all the love he had for his family and our Dear Lord.

Charles E. Dunigan leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Loving wife of 44-years, Minnie Dunigan of London, KY; children, Kimberly Guynn of Lexington, KY, Melissa Dunigan of Sand Gap, and Mike Dunigan & Sue of Hazard, KY; sisters, Wanda Dobson of Winchester, KY and Martha Miles of Michigan; brother, Leo Dunigan & Cathy of Richmond, KY; nieces, Christy Frazier & Chris of Lexington, KY, Tammy Smithers & Bob of Alabama and Rhonda Cunningham of Michigan; nephews, Chris Slaven & Denise of Florida, Charles "Chuck" Slaven of Hazard, Joey Dunigan & Brittany of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Connor Guynn-Lewis of Lexington, KY, Brandon Dunigan & Selena of Hazard, KY; great-grandchildren, Kara & Little B. of Hazard, KY; special friends, Donnie & Sharon Reid, Billy & Tammy Turner, Terry & Jan Baker, Jimmy & Linda Alderdice, his car show buddies, and many other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation for Charles E. Dunigan will be held on Wednesday February 12, 2025 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday February 13, 2025 at Camp Nelson Cemetery – Nicholasville, Kentucky at 1:30 P.M. with full Military Honors.
