Charles Glenn Fugate born February 28, 1960 departed this life on Wednesday – April 1, 2026 at his residence being 66-years old.  Charles was born in Hazard, Kentucky, the son of the late Charlie Fugate and the late Ruby Fugate.  Other than his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his sisters, Clara Jean Fugate, Lisa Faye Fugate, and Shelia Ann Banks.

Charles leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife, Charlotte; son, Charles Dewayne Fugate "Waynie"; grandson/son, Dakota Glenn Fugate; daughters, Jennifer Ann Fugate, Connie Fugate; four sisters, Glenna Sue Wagers & Willie, Jr. of Bulan, Linda Kaye Slone & Paul of Christopher, Brenda Taulbee & Sam of Ary, and Connie Lynn Combs & Steve of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Dalton Ray Fugate, James Nicholas Fugate, Jayden Seth Fugate, Rachel Popp, Cortney Fugate, Breanna and Jacob Popp, Skyler Feltner, Gage Fugate, Ava Fugate; three great grandchildren; special friends, Bobby Singleton, Lonnie and Mary Fugate;  also a host of nieces and nephews survive.

Funeral Services for Charles Glenn Fugate will be conducted on Tuesday – April 7, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Jesse Paul Wagers (best friend/brother) officiating. The Interment will follow in the Bush Family Cemetery located at Pigeon Roost, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Monday April 6, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
