Charlie Miller born August 24, 1945, departed this life on Friday – November 21, 2025, at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia being 80-years old.  Charlie was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Zack Miller and the late Leanna Hughes Miller.  Other than his parents, Charlie was also preceded in death by his wife, Sinda Miller; sons-in-law, Jim Barlowe and Arthur Tackett, 8-brothers and 1-sister.

Charlie Miller leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: daughters, Marlene Tackett of Rockingham, VA and Melissa Ann Miller of Hazard; sons, Jerry Wayne Miller, David Miller, and Charles Miller & Ada all of Hazard; brother, William Miller of Hazard; eight grandchildren, Misty Spradlin & Preston, Casey Tackett & Jessica, Dusty Barlowe, Keisha Miller, Brooklyn Miller, Isiah Davidson, Ashley Davidson, and Allison Turner; seven great-grandchildren, Bentley, Gunner, Sawyer Kate, Aubrey Lynn, James Dakota, Taylor Kate, and Alexis Noelle; special friend, Richard Everage; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation will be held for Charlie Miller on Monday evening at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday – November 25, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home.
