Chester Patrick born July 27, 1939 departed this life on Monday March 27, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 83-years old.  Chester was born in Knott County at Montgomery Creek the son of the late Nim Patrick and the late Allie Everage Patrick.  Other than his parents, Chester was also preceded in death by his Daughter, Tamela Asher; Brothers, Kermit Patrick, Odis Patrick and Dan Patrick; Sisters, Sue Sammons and Clara Napier; Two Great-Grandchildren, Sophia & Isabella Asher.

Chester retired from working in the Coal Industry, loved spending time with his family and friends.  Chester loved Basketball (no matter what team was playing), music, old movies and cars.

Chester Patrick leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 54-years, Evalee Patrick of Happy, KY; Daughter, Angie Collins & Sam of Happy, KY; Siblings, Curt Patrick of Bulan, KY, Evelyn Owens of Clear Creek, KY and Vivian Cornett of Hazard, KY; Son-In-Law, Geoff Asher of Wise, Virginia; Four Grandchildren, Bailey Asher, Olivia Asher, Jackson Asher, and Zane Collins; Four Great-Grandchildren, Noah Asher, Liam Asher, Athena Asher, and Ava Asher; also a host of many dear family and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Chester Patrick will be conducted on Thursday March 30, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Jack Carter officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Patrick Family Cemetery located in Knott County.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M.
