Clifton Lee Smith "Groovy", born October 22, 1975 departed this life on Friday July 11th, 2025 at his residence in Bonnyman,  Kentucky being 49-years old.  Clifton was born in Hazard, Kentucky, the son of the late Clayton Davis and Elizabeth Campbell.  Other than his father, Clifton also preceded in death by his wife Tammy Smith; grandparents, William and Christine Smith; brothers, Ricky Smith, William Smith Jr., Richard Smith; sisters, Patricia Holiday, Diane Smith, Ollie Smith, Karen Smith and Lela Smith.

Clifton Smith was an animal lover.  He enjoyed caring for all his animals, especially his dog.

Clifton Smith leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: parents, Elizabeth and Ronnie Campbell; sisters, Linda martin, Darlene Coomer, Jackie Estep, Shan Campbell; stepdaughter, Katie Crawford; stepsons, Nicholas Bailey and Amanda, Jeremy Bailey, and Mckinley Crawford.

Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday -July 16th, 2025, from 3:00 P.M.to 5:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home, with Merril David Collins Officiating.
