Clifton Watts born September 18, 1950 departed this life on Thursday October 10, 2024 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 74 years old. Clifton was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Charlie Watts and the late Melda Watts. Other than his parents, Clifton was also preceded in death by his wife, Debra Watts; brothers, Billy Watts, Charles Watts and Greenberry Watts; sisters, Helen Lawson and Verlin Hall. Clifton was a Life-Long Member of the Church of Christ and loved to Ginseng. Clifton enjoyed talking and fellowshipping with folks and was known as a jokester.

Clifton Watts leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: son, Adam Clifton Watts of Brownsfork; daughter, Jodie Pottorf & Matt of Brownsfork; sister, Nadine Roberts of Brownsfork; special pet, Cocoa.

Visitation for Clifton Watts will be held on Monday October 14, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Monday October 14, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Donnie Oliver officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Watts-Lawson Cemetery located at Brownsfork, Kentucky.
