Clyde Franklin Epperson born January 8, 1950 departed this life on Sunday January 29, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 73-years old. Clyde was born in Leatherwood, Kentucky the son of the late Charlie Epperson and the late Martha Stacy Epperson. Other than his parents, Clyde was also preceded in death by his Wife, Shirlene Epperson, Brothers, Fred Epperson, James Epperson, and Charles Edward Epperson. Clyde loved fishing, reading, westerns, and country music. He loved spending time with his family.

Clyde Franklin Epperson leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Son, James Lee Epperson of Cornettsville, KY; Daughters, Sherry Epperson and Teresa Epperson of Cornettsville KY; Brother, John D Epperson; Sister, Rhoda Hurt; Grandchildren, Travis Charles Epperson & Tina, Brionna TeRae Robinson & Hunter. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation for Clyde Franklin Epperson will be conducted on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Big Leatherwood First Baptist Church at Delphia, KY beginning at 6:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Big Leatherwood First Baptist Church with Bob Caudill officiating. The Interment will follow in the AA Cornett Cemetery located at Cornettsville, Kentucky.
