Coolie Callahan born June 14, 1963 departed this life on Saturday June 15, 2024 at his residence in Cornettsville, Kentucky being 61-years old. Coolie was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Jonah Callahan and the late Verdie Hibbard Callahan. Other than his parents, Coolie was also preceded in death by his brothers, Olan Holbrook, Bazell Holbrook and Kenneth Holbrook; sister, Margaret Roark.

Coolie Callahan leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife of 42-years, Angelia Callahan of Cornettsville, KY; daughters, Ashley Callahan of Hazard, Tenai Fields of Cornettsville, KY; brother, Raymond Holbrook of Cornettsville, KY; sister, Carolyn Hall & Harry of TN; brother-in-law, Lawrence Roark of OH; granddaughter, Kamryn Nantz.

A Celebration of Life Visitation for Coolie Callahan will be conducted on Wednesday June 19, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M.
