Corna Campbell, born September 21, 1953 departed this life on Thursday July 17, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, in Hazard, Kentucky being 71 years old. Corna was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Clinton Thacker and the late Imogene Dean Thacker. Other than her parents, Corna was also preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Ray, Gillis, Robin Darrell, Lewis, Delzie, Ulas Harold, and Hubert Thacker, sisters, Carolyn Cornetet, Mary Baker, Nancy May and Martha Combs.

Corna Campbell leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: son, Lee Collins (Melanie); sister, Teresa Karr; one granddaughter, Brooklyn Collins; special friend Margaret "Bugs" Deaton.  A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for will be held on Monday- July 21, 2025 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M.– 1:00 P.M.  The Funeral Services will be held on Monday- July 21, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Merrill David Collins officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Thacker Family Cemetery located at Krypton, Kentucky.
