Curtis Morris born October 29, 1939 departed this life on Wednesday August 30, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 83- years old. Curtis was born in Lower Second Creek, Kentucky the son of the late Beecher Morris, Sr. and the late Oma Hensley Morris. Other than his Parents, Curtis was also preceded in death by his Son, Curtis Morris, Jr.; Daughter, Maude Ellen Morris; One Sister, Thelma Dean Hensley and One Brother, Faron Morris. Curtis was a Member of the Lower Grassy Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with his family.

Curtis Morris leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 60-years, Mildred Morris of Busy; Children, Jeff Edward Morris & Tracy of Cynthiana, KY, Jo Anne Morris of Busy, Elizabeth Lea Cornett of Georgetown, KY, Juanita Cornett & Marshall Wayne of Willard; Brothers, Arlie Morris & Barb of Little Willard, Beecher, Jr. Morris & Maude of Bristow, VA, Reed Morris & Launa of Big Creek, KY, Clifford Morris & Maddie of Corbin, KY, David Morris of Willard; Sisters, Bonnie Jean Freeman & Emmit of Cullman, AL, Patricia Jo Abplanalp & John of Milford, OH, Nora Lea Schwing of East Bernstadt, KY; Seven Grandchildren, Five Great-Grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Curtis Morris will be conducted on Monday September 4, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Troy Smith and Clifford Colwell officiating. The Interment will follow in the Baker Cemetery located at Lower Grassy, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Monday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M.
