Danny Dean Hollifield born January 4, 1953 departed this life on Monday October 30, 2023 at his residence in Bulan, Kentucky being 70-years old. Danny was born in Hardburly, Kentucky the son of the late Thomas Wesley Hollifield and the late Jessie Virginia Gregory. Other than his parents, Danny was also preceded in death by One Son, Danny Dean Hollifield, Jr.; One Brother, Thomas Edward Hollifield; Sisters, Mary Martha Roberts, Chlo Marie Johnston and Phyllis Ann Rowlison. Dean worked at River Processing Coal Company for many years, than he went to work at Big Lots where he later retired. Dean loved all sports but especially the U.K. Wildcats and the Cincinnati Reds.

Danny Dean Hollifield leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Special Companion, Rachel Clemons; Son, Kelvin Darrell Hollifield; Step-Son, Todd Clemons & Brittany; Daughter, Deborah Renee Watts; Brothers, James Donald Hollifield & Dorothy, Paul Hollifield & Alice; Sister, Linda Sue Hollifield Arnett; Grandchildren, Brandon Michael Watts, Brittany Michaela Watts, Hudson Clemons and Mazie Grace Clemons. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Danny Dean Hollifield will be conducted on Saturday November 4, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Johnny Ambrose officiating. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 till 3:00 P.M.
