Darrell Boggs born April 23, 1956 departed this life on Wednesday May 24, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard being 67-years old. Darrell was born in Perry County, Kentucky the son of the late William Boggs and the late Alice Lewis Boggs. Other than his Parents, Darrell was also preceded in death by Two Brothers, Willard Boggs and Winston Boggs; Two Sisters, Shirley Perkins and Patricia Coots. Darrell enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Darrell Boggs leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Loving Wife, Kathy Boggs of Sassafras, KY; Sons, Robert Lee Pruitt & Amanda of Mousie, KY, Curtis Michael Pruitt & Kiristie of Brinkley, KY; Daughters, Melissa Sue Collins & Derek of Krypton, KY Hailey Alice Mary Boggs & Gavin of Sassafras, KY; Brothers, William Boggs, Jr. & Fawna of Bagota, TX, Willis Boggs & Pat of Wheelwright, KY, Daniel Boggs & Angela of London, KY; Sisters, Rachel Shepherd of Whitesburg, KY, Deborah Caudill & Earl of Viper, KY, Sharon Davis & Jackie of Louisville, KY, Pamela King & Kevin of Franklin, OH; Special Friends, Allen McIntosh, David Sturgill, and Earl Caudill; Grandchildren, Audrie Shayne Pruitt, Lindsay Michaella Pruitt, Cadie Leann Collins, Chayton Michael Pruitt, Aiden Riley Neace, Sydney Alexa Blake Neace, Liam Duke Ray Jones. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

A Memorial Service for Darrell Boggs will be conducted on Sunday May 28, 2023 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M. with Justin Ritchie officiating. A Private Burial will take place at Blackhawk Cemetery in Happy, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M.
