Darrell Napier born January 9, 1963 departed this life on Tuesday April 25, 2023 at his residence in Hazard being 60-years old. Darrell was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Napoleon Napier and the late Edith Smith Napier. Darrell was also preceded in death by his Biological Mother, Lottie Marie Rowland; Sisters, Dale Spinhirne, Reva Fritsch, Martha Combs, Mary Hurt, Wilma Kaye Spurlocks; Brothers, Wallace Napier, Napoleon Napier, Jr., Eugene Napier.  Darrell enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards.

Darrell Napier leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 32-years, Sarah Napier of Hazard; Daughters, Danielle Michelle Napier of Hazard, Victoria Constance Akers of Morehead, KY, Jennifer Marie Akers & Chester Marlowe of Hazard; Brothers, Eliza Darrell Napier of Beaver Dam, KY, James Rowland of Wilmore, KY, Don Smith of Lotts Creek, KY; Special Friend, Eddie Walker of Lotts Creek, KY; Granddaughter, Courteney Belle Marlowe. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Darrell Napier will be conducted on Friday April 28, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Johnie Akers officiating. The Interment will follow in the Pearl Grigsby Cemetery located at Lotts Creek, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 till 3:00 P.M. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations towards the funeral expense.
