David Campbell born June 26, 1944 departed this life on Friday July 29, 2022 at Rowdy, Kentucky being 78-years old. David was born at Rowdy, Kentucky the son of the late Willie Campbell and the late Polly Ann Hamilton Campbell. Other than his parents, David was also preceded in death by his Wife, Phyllis Ann Combs Campbell; Brothers, Carter Campbell, Tivis Campbell; Speed Campbell; Omer Landrum; Sisters, Eddie Kay Landrum Stevens, Jewel Campbell Wigdahl; Niece, Anne Wigdahl. David was very proud of all of his nieces and nephews and thought the world of them.

David Campbell leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Daughter, Glenna Bryant & Wendell of Rowdy; Brother, Herman Campbell of Beattyville, KY; Sister, Goldie Jones of Georgetown, KY; Sister-in-Laws, Jerri Campbell and Betty Combs; Brother-in-Laws, Michael Combs, Howard Wigdahl; Friends, Clay Campbell, Andrew Fugate, Frank Jewell, Tommy Brewer, Steve Howard and Lonnie from L&T; Four Grandchildren, Charley, David, Ryder, and MaKayla. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for David Campbell will be conducted on Sunday August 7, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with B.J. Campbell officiating. The Interment will follow in the Campbell Family Cemetery located at Rowdy, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M.
