David Arliss Maggard born July 13, 1960 departed this life on Monday November 21, 2022 at his residence in Georgetown, Kentucky being 62-years old.  David was born in Queens, New York the son of Edna Link Maggard and the late Douglas Maggard.  Other than his father, David was also preceded in death by his Brother, Steven Maggard; Sister, Lois Jean Collett and Uncle, Jimmy Maggard.  David was a U.S. Army Veteran, he loved to cook and feed people,  enjoyed deep sea fishing, hunting trips, traveling, and was a hard working man who owned his own contracting business and catering business.  David was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family.

David Arliss Maggard leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Mother, Edna Maggard of Lexington, KY; Son, Kyle David Gregory Maggard & Ashley of Chavies, KY; Daughter, Britta Danielle Maggard & Caleb of Chavies, KY; Son, Klay Richmond Maggard & Madison of Maryland; Two Brothers, Douglas Maggard & Juanita of Chavies, KY and Charlie Maggard & Missy of Chavies, KY; Three Sisters, Diane Moore of Alabama, Stephanie Maggard of Florida, and Alice Watkins & Michael of Georgetown, KY; Five Grandchildren, Kyleah Maggard, Kaleb Maggard, Kolton Maggard, Kyler Maggard, and Kashton Coleman; Special Friends, Arthur Maggard, Joe Maggard and John Arnold Maggard; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for David Arliss Maggard will be held on Friday evening at the Krypton Brethren Church after 6:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 26, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at the Krypton Brethren Church with Amos Hamblin officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Stamper Cemetery located at Dwarf, Kentucky.  Military Rites will be conducted by the Hazard-Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
