Deborah Sue Collins born April 8, 1963 departed this life on Thursday – April 2, 2026 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 62-years old.  Deborah was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Shelby Smith and the late Dessie Eversole Smith.  Other than her parents, Deborah was also preceded in death by sons: David Shawn Sumner, Burley Ray Smith, and Randall White; brothers: Billy Ray Smith, Robert Smith, Randall Smith, and Stevie Smith; daughter-in-law, Leigh Ann Sumner.  Deborah was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend, she loved spending time with family and talking on Facebook.

Deborah Sue Collins leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: husband, Jim Collins of Bonnyman, KY; daughters, Jamie Engle & Wayne of Vicco, and Tina Beverly & Keith of Vicco; sons, Verlin Sumner & Leslea of Bulan, Jimmy Collins & Jess of Bonnyman, and William Collins of Paducah; brother, Michael Smith of Vicco; sister, Anna Herald of Combs; 7-grandchildren, 1-great great grandchild; also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral Services for Deborah Sue Collins will be conducted on Monday – April 6, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Jason Smith and David Smith officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Sumner Family Cemetery located at George's Branch.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
