Deborah Diane Hurt Vitatoe born April 14, 1969 departed this life on Monday October 14, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 55-years old.  Deborah was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of Annice Lou Ritchie and the late William "Pete" Hurt.  Other than her father, Deborah was also preceded in death by her brother, Alan Dale Hurt; maternal grandparents, Price & Francis Brock; paternal grandparents, Bob & Rusha Hurt; uncles, Joe Hurt, Lamar Hurt, and Odell Hurt.  Deborah was a member of the Maple Street Church of God, she loved going to church and serving the Lord.  Deborah loved to sing in church and play the piano, and had served as worship leader in years past.

Deborah Diane Hurt Vitatoe leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: mother, Annice Ritchie of Hazard, KY; daughters, Andrea Crase of Richmond, KY and Sara Bailey & Phillip of Hazard, KY; brother, Daniel Hurt & Erin of Hazard, KY; sister, Jacqulyn Mason of Anniston, Alabama; nephew, Connor Hurt; niece, Susie Nelson; uncles, Paul Brock & Ruby, Carlos Brock & Dorothy, and Ronnie Brock; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Deborah Diane Hurt Vitatoe will be held on Saturday October 19, 2024 at the Maple Street Church of God in Hazard, Kentucky from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will follow on Saturday at the Maple Street Church of God at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Mike Smith and James Cornett officiating.  Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery located at Hazard, Kentucky.
