Delena Rosa McKnight, age 71, of Gray, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday November 26, 2023, at her home

Born in Hazard, Kentucky, she was preceded in death by her parents, Winfrey Brashear and Mary Hollon Brashear. She was a Registered Nurse having worked at Baptist Regional Medical Center before working for many years prior to her retirement from Marymount Hospital in London. Delena loved being outside and being with her special doggie "Barklee."

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Brashear, Darrell Brashear, Darwin Brashear, Douglas Brashear, Denny Brashear, Danny Brashear and by her twin sister, Delores Ann Brashear.

She is survived by her daughter, Randa Rosa Minor-Coffey (Kevin Lee), grandchildren, Brooklyn NaVannah-Rosa Minor (Gary Swafford), and Maison Kelynn Prater, siblings, Katie Brashear Martin of Barbourville, and Debbie Davidson of Viper, KY, and she was anxiously awaiting her first great grandchild, Lainey Jane Swafford.

Visitation with her family will be from 5-7pm on Friday December 1, 2023, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her memorial service will be held at 7pm with Bro. James Douglas Martin officiating.
