Delma Johnson born November 24, 1940, departed this life on Thursday – November 6, 2025, at the Knott County Health & Rehab in Hindman, Kentucky, being 84-years old. Delma was born in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Arnold Davidson and the late Lona Fugate Davidson. Other than her parents, Delma was also preceded in death by her husband, Luther Johnson, Jr., daughter, Wilma Jean Baer, Brothers, Elliot "Bud" Davidson and Curt Davidson, Sister, Betty Jean Davidson, great grandchild, Karter Ray Adams. Delma loved to sew and make quilts.

Delma Johnson leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: daughter, Judy White of Chavies, Kentucky; sons, Johnny Johnson and Kenneth Ray Johnson of Chavies; brothers, Fred Davidson and Don Davidson of Illinois; 10 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation for Delma Johnson will be held on Saturday – November 8, 2025, at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday – November 8, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home. The Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery located at Gays Creek, Kentucky.
