Delmar Butler born August 25, 1955 departed this life on Sunday June 19, 2022 at his residence in Richmond Hill, Georgia being 66-years old.  Delmar was born in Viper, Kentucky the son of Sarah Bowling and the late Steve Butler.  Other than his father, Delmar was also preceded in death by his Brother, Michael Butler and Step-Father, Dean Bowling.  Delmar was a Member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as a Minister and Pastor for his Lord and Savior.  Delmar was a former construction worker & coal miner, and was an avid deer hunter.

Delmar Butler leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife, Linda Butler of Richmond Hill, GA; Son, Jerry Wayne Butler of Hazard; Daughter, Melanie Bowman & Steven of Richmond Hill, GA; Mother, Sarah Bowling of Hazard; Brothers, Harlan Wayne Dillon & Sue of Missouri and Ricky Butler of Hazard; Sisters, Teresa Campbell & Joe of Cassat, South Carolina, and Yvonne Smith & Randy of Hazard; Grandchildren, Brook Dorton, Gavin Bowman, and Paisley Bowman; Great-Grandchildren, Easton Dorton and Emri Dorton; Chosen Brother, Dan Dillon; also a host of many other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Delmar Butler will be conducted on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Brother Darrell Allen and Brother John Conn officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Adams-Lewis Cemetery located at Viper, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
