Delois S. Hampton born September 11,1958 went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 14,2022 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard being 63-years old. Delois was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of Evelyn Halcomb and the late Kermit Shepherd. Other than her Father, Delois was also preceded in death by One Sister, Judy Brunner. Delois was a Member of the Church of Christ, a Loving Mother and Grandmother, a devoted housewife and worker, Loved to Fish and Loved everyone that she met.

Hampton leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Mother, Evelyn Halcomb of Slemp; Husband of 9 years, Sherman Hampton; Step-Son, Ed Hampton & Polly of Isom, KY; Two Daughters, Michelle Breeding Stone of Whitesburg, KY, Amy Abner & Chris of Cornettsville; Step-Daughter, Tamika Hampton of Richmond, KY; Two Brothers, Howard Shepherd & Jackie of Cornettsville, Richard Shepherd & Anita of Cornettsville; Two Sisters, Lucille Dixon & Gary of Ulvah, KY, Bernice Dixon & Manus of Cornettsville; Five Grandchildren, Emily Stone, Amber Stone, Ethan Eldridge, Jaiden Eldridge, and Kobe Eldridge. A host of other Relatives, Friends, and Coworkers survive.

Funeral Services for Delois S. Hampton will be conducted on Friday June 17,2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Jason Dixon and Virgil Caudill officiating. The Interment will follow in the Spencer Cemetery located at Cornettsville, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 P.M till 2:00 P.M.
